Pilgrim's Progress
Express a chapter [between 1 and 11] of Pilgrim's Progress in one of the following ways:
1) Create an advertisement/flier for an idea from a chapter that you deem worthy to advertise to others. An example would be an ad for the place of rest in chapter seven where Christian falls asleep. Include descriptions that are listed in your book. Or an ad for abstract ideas like Contentment or Patience.
2) Write a two page minimum, double spaced report on the Puritans and how Bunyan impacted literature with his religious beliefs. Include a bibliography. MLA format.
3) Research any of the following historical figures and write a report or create a visual with facts from your research. 2 Pages, double spaced:
a. John Bunyan
b. Mary Tudor
c. The Pope in 1678
4) Draw/Paint/Collage/Print/Glitterize/Sculpt/Etc... a visual image that represents your favorite character in Pilgrim's Progress.
5) Write and translate your song from chapter 6 into another language. Below are resources. Include elements of that language's culture in your presentation (which can be a poster-board, a *nice*, professional piece of card-stock or paper, or anything else approved by me).

6) www.storybird.com - Create a "mini-book" for chapters 1-11. This is a creative summary that would require you to explain the story to a younger person. E-mail me at [email protected] for the password & username information to my account.
